Claudia Stevens		About the Artist
Dedicated to the preservation of exotic and native wildlife you can find Claudia’s work in gardening books, magazines, textbooks, editorials, book cover art and more. She has traveled throughout Central America to study local and endangered plant life. Claudia began on her own as a self taught artist and later obtained a Master of Arts degree in visual arts. She has been illustrating for publication since 1989. Her artwork is in major publishing houses nation-wide and abroad. She works in naturalist illustration and gouache painting. Claudia sells her art in Monterey Bay area bookstores and galleries and is currently painting a series of card portfolios.
