Botanical Information: Commonly known as a Nine-pin heath, the Erica bauera is an evergreen shrub, native to South Africa. The South African kingdom is the smallest in area of all the floral kingdoms, situated on the southern extremity of Africa. This warm, temperate region,with dry summers and winter rains, is represented by about 650 species of Ericas. Erica bauera seedlings come up with flowers any shade from deep pink to white.
